Dig It Up on tour with None More Black

Beginning today, Montreal, Quebec punk outfit Dig It Up will embark on a short tour of the East Coast with None More Black. The band – which features members of Fifth Hour Hero and The Sainte Catherines – is playing shows in support if it’s latest release, a split 7-inch with hometown brethren Prevenge.

The four-song album is available from Pavones Records and is limited to a pressing of 500 on white (100) and black (400) vinyl. You can grab a copy from Dig It Up on tour or pick one up from the label here. The split is also available as a free / donation-based download from Juicebox Recording Co.. Featuring two of Canada’s best and brightest DIY outfits tearing through four fist-pumping, high-energy, rough-and-tumble yet relentlessly catchy anthems, The Prevenge side of the 7″ was recorded and mixed by Adrian Popovitch (Priestess, Barnburner) while Dig It Up recorded with Marc Andre Beaudet of The Sainte Catherines. All songs were mastered by John Naclerio (Polar Bear Club, My Chemical Romance).

In related news, Dig It Up recently finished recording with Jon Drew, who produced Fucked Up’s Polaris Prize-winning The Chemistry of Common Life, as well as releases from Alexisonfire and Career Suicide. No label or release date has been announced, but stay tuned for more news within the coming weeks.
