RIP: Tony Sly (No Use For A Name)

RIP: Tony Sly (No Use For A Name)

No Use For A Name singer Tony Sly has passed away 41 years old.

Sly joined the long-running punk band in 1989, releasing nine full-lengths with the band, as well as various EPs. In addition to his career with No Use For a Name, he released several solo acoustic records, including a pair of releases with friend and Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape. I recently reviewed their latest release. No Use For A Name’s Leche Con Carne was and still is one of my favourite skatepunk records.

no extra info, although their latest albums don’t seem to have the spirit the older ones have, still a great band. RIP!
