The 101’s single Annihilation out now
Annihilation, the first single for the dutch label White Russian Records has been released by the dutch band The 101’s. It comes accompanied with a topical video (done by Careless Films) and a great cover design by Mathijs Vissers.
While many are wondering if December 21st 2012 will indeed mark the end of the world, the start of a catastrophic phase, or a time for spiritual transformation, the Dutch experienced band unleash the brand new song upon the world.
The track was recorded, mixed and mastered by Frans Vermast, who is known for his work with bands like De Heideroosjes. He managed to caption the bands energetic, passionate raw form of punk rock, and it sees the band making a big step forward from their last album. Fans of Polar Bear Club, Hot Water Music and The Loved Ones, can add this track to their playlist without having to think twice.
The track is available as a one track single on all bigger digital platforms, such as iTunes, Amazon and Napster, but is also streamable on Spotify and Rdio and many more.
Those who want to buy the track to the label’s official store will be awarded with the bonus track “Still Distant”.
