Contrast – Brighter Sight

Before we get all hyped up about Judge at Groezrock let’s not forget there are actually pretty good new hardcore bands around these days. Belgium is and always was a good country for plain good oldschool hardcore. After Building, Justice and True Colors there’s now Contrast.

The Brighter Site demo tape features four songs who could have been on Crucial’s For The Sake Of Dedication compilation or Teamwork’s Growing Stronger back in the heydays of youth crew hardcore. No complicated message nor complicated riffs, just positive lyrics, good breakdowns and a pretty good vocalist make Contrast a good addition to the hardcore scene.
