I just finished Patti Smith’s [i]Just Kids[/i], great book! Not so much about her music carreer, as it focusses mostly on her relationship with the photographer Robert Mapplethorpe. It gives a great impression of NY around the time of Woodstock and The Factory-scene and how a carreer can be launched.
