Guns N Roses – Appetite For Outtakes cd (3cd’s full of Guns N Roses during the 80’s, despite the sound quality amazing.) None More Black – s/t 7″ (took me a while to find it, love it extremely much.) Get Up Kids – There Are Rules LP (despite the different vibe, I enjoy it.) + … Continue reading Reply To: Shoplifters of the world, unite and take over (or which records did you buy?)
You don’t? I thought you pretty much liked anything! 😉 But I totally agree with you. Those Obey The Bear Wrestler Attack bands kids seem to be into are not my cup of tea.
the idea for a hardcore related flyer including an amazing crowd shot and logo still works best. I agree with what Rold says, we have to come up with a good slogan that SWKN is more something more than any regular e-zine. What we need is short copy and a slogan that hits the mark … Continue reading Reply To: In the works
Incubate is taking complete charge of Tilburg for about a week again, this time it includes a hardcore fest featuring Trial amongst others.
LA DISPUTE (us) Narrative poetry set to post-hardcore with bluesy quirks, musical experiments and moody soundscapes. Though emotional introspectiveness is the core center of their sound, La Dispute occasionally bursts out in hardcore punk dynamism. An intriguing band with an intriguing sound that leaves no one untouched. Full Of Hell and Code Orange Kids will be supporting them.
Future Fables sounds like ’70s British hard rock and the early ’80s NYC underground.
To be honest it’s kind of refreshing and pure what Violent Sons are doing.
Highs and lows of 2014’s Ieperfest.

After Expire, Desolated, Coldburn and To The Test, final ten names confirmed for Dutch festival Northcote.
So what cool (new) bands have you guys come across recenlty? (there already was a new bands topic, but for some reason I was unable to track it down). I went to London last weekend to go to the last Milloy show (which was totally awesome) and ended up going to a Rucktion Presents… show … Continue reading Recent discoveries
[quote=Pim]There wasn’t a single update on SWNK for 2 days, sorry for that, here’s why :)Friday: Waking up early to get over to my little sister to film her & her soon to be husband getting ready (make up / hair / dress / suit). And to capture the moment she walks downstairs the stairs … Continue reading Reply To: How did you start out your day?
