Cohesion Bookings and Kafee Aloys are very proud and happy to present you: IN-SANE (SLO) IN-SANE is a slovenian punk/emo/hardcore band. They play music that reminds of Propagandhi mixed with Hot Water Music and Against Me!. Relentless touring, playing loads of shows and more than 10 years of playing music made IN-SANE a strong member … Continue reading IN-SANE (SLO) + Anvery
“Spring 2013” is a monstrous 26 song (hour and a half long) dive into the Deathwish world.
Arrived in time to check out the first band Onesta. They put on a solid show but couldn’t convince me the way they had on the previous tour with Billy Club Sandwich in 2008. Maybe it was because of the fact that it was a Sunday and it was still early. Guess in good ol’ … Continue reading Wisdom In Chains/ Devil In Me/ Onesta, Muziekgieterij Maastricht 18/12/11
Great musical contradictions is what make this release an interesting combination.
• WE LIVE IN TRENCHES – “Out of the Dark” EP (containing Samhain cover) – digital copy KIDS INSANE hail from Tel Aviv, Israel, and play an insane mix of angry, yet melodic punk-rock (think Dillinger Four and Small Brown Bike) and modern hardcore (think Modern Life Is War, Verse, and Refused). -> if the … Continue reading Reply To: Reviews – Any takers?

Code orange kids – http://codeorangekids.bandcamp.com/ I saw them live this weekend and they ruled! I’m not sure how to describe them. The drummer and both guitarists sing (well… do vocals). This is perhaps screamo with a hardcore edge. Or hardcore with loads screamo influences.
Someone threw some beer at me, there were moronic stage divers and I got some bruises but I don’t care. I’ve seen one of the best Good Riddance shows ever.
Haha awesome, never noticed that before: http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/165712/how-do-i-reach-these-kids
I enjoyed the hell out of This Is The End, as stated before 😉 I thought We’re The Millers was fun, just nothing amazing. Cloverfield I didn’t like either. But I feel I would have enjoyed that one a lot more when it wasn’t hyped as much as it was. Going to the cinema with … Continue reading Reply To: Movies / TV shows part II
POB and 3ThaHardWay present: Note To Amy Note to Amy isn’t your typical rock band. This Dutch five-piece combines the best of metal, emo and punkrock. The music these guys play sounds authentic, fresh and colourful, but pitch black and heavy as well. Expect pounding drums, galloping bass, a double axe-men riff attack and howling … Continue reading 3 Tha Hard Way presents: Note To Amy, Anvery, Ed Wood (UK), Life’s Too Short For Us

Tenement (not the Tenement Kids) announced a USA / Canada tour that they’ve dubbed “Creation – Coast To Cast”.
On average, the more I hear people say “Hardcore lives” the more death it seems 😉
If people need convincing that it’s still alive, it’s probably dead indeed. 😉 I heard Brutality Reigns Supreme in Dordrecht had only 30 paying visitors…and a lot of the kids there in Kaatsheuvel were Belgian anyway… but it … Continue reading Reply To: HARDCORE LIVES! I’ve managed to watch 4 songs… maybe 5… And then went home. No energy, and no necessary ‘punch’ at all. I really like Bad Religion but this was boring. I know it’s punkrock and there should be no need for any stageprops or ‘show’. But then again, it IS entertainment and when you play to … Continue reading Reply To: Bad Religion, August 3, Tilburg
