A spoof interview with Rick Ta Life would be the slyest April Fools. You could get a small child to write the response then occasionally put ‘harcore’ in capitals somewhere in the middle and nobody would be any the wiser.

When we ran Yo London we changed the banner on April Fools day to say ‘in association with Kerrang’. A couple of people fell for it, and tried to backpedal later. Whatever it is it needs to appeal to peoples defensive nature whenever hardcore looks like it’s selling out or being watered down or something.
