Muerto Rico’s post hardcore is still a bit rough around the edges, but these two EP’s could be just for you if you’re into that style.
Nab: Great! I’ll be printing, cutting and shipping this week. Or do you want to cut them yourself? 🙂 I can talk to Alexis too if you want, good guy. JP: Thanks! Do you want to print them yourself or… because next week is fast 😉 I can give you a 300 DPI file if … Continue reading Reply To: In the works
Sold out the place, sold out the beer, played a solid set and (unlike most hardcore bands) actually had the records they were releasing right there…
pffff… After plowing through over 80 mails I got this list for you. If the band/label/promotor did not provide us with a link to facebook/bandcamp/youtube you’ll have to look it up yourselves. I just can’t find the time right now to do it for you… Sorry ’bout that! Let me know if there’s something here … Continue reading

Guitarist Jort and vocalist Rowald take us into the world of anarchy, acoustic festivals and coffee mugs. ‘We’re not planning a lawsuit against Groezrock’
Hardcore. NYHC. 80’s. Artwork. First name that comes to mind? Sean Taggart right? Pim had a chat with him to see what he’s up to these days.
The Wrong Way is a far better and more diverse record than Street Prowl.
Like it! On multiple levels: – I always love to hear about underrated records. I’ve learned about Handsome, Social Decay and stuff like that because of people talking about how great they were and that more people should check it out. – It’s good to have our readers participate. Maybe we should start with picking … Continue reading Reply To: In the spotlights, new series of articles
6131 Records welcomes England’s Vales to the label. Releasing the “Clarity” EP in North America later this year and a full length in early 2013.
Nice! Just read that ManLiftingBanner interview, good job. Could you maybe talk em into putting one of the new songs online to go along with it? Debut it on SWNK or something? That could be cool?
Even you are entitled to an opinion though Rik. Just kidding! You’re not.. Oh wait 😉 I like that dotted artwork style. It’s a bit busy in this one though. I like how the background and the drawing interact with eachother. But hmm… we should talk about this in the design topic right? 🙂
While Nirvana had plenty of punk songs, attitude wise they were definitely more punkrock than your average punk / hardcore band.

Recorded by vocalist Zac Eisenstein in his home this fall. Featuring songs originally by Crush and Soul Asylum.
JP – I’ll be sending you Rearranged, Skin Like Iron & Get The Most. No care if you love em or not, I don’t care about ‘objective’ reviews anyway. Just write down how you feel about a record, if you love a band, be passionate about it. Way more interesting than being objective. People will … Continue reading Reply To: Reviews – Any takers?
Since the tape is already made public, it might be nice to talk about that first American Nightmare show in European soil. I for one was looking forward to it for months. I remember the Gloppe was packed with people from Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany. Chris Bridge 9 was selling merch like it was … Continue reading American Nightmare – Gloppe
