I also loved Wreck It Ralph 😉 Saw Maleficent (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1587310/) the other day at the cinema. Not really my kinda movie, but it’s a Disney movie, so it looked good 😉 Also made me realize how little I remembered of the “Sleeping Beauty” story.
Remember Charge? I loved that band, and kept an eye on the bands it spawned, like Overstand. Now there’s Changes.
Sold Out – Prescription Make Do And Mend – Everything You Ever Loved
Andrew (Aversionline, No Echo) did a guest review on the new Said And Done – Better Days album.
Those 2,5 hours were over before I knew it. No Fight Club, but I did like it for sure. Let me see: As Above, So Below: Another one I did like that someone on here doesn’t 🙂 There were a lot of references to Dante and the layers of hell etc, maybe you didn’t get … Continue reading
Power Trip just put up the final mastering of their new 7″ on Bandcamp.
I never listened to that record but I want in. I imported a bunch of their demo’s when they were starting out, played a show with them back then and also saw a couple of shows. I lost interest along the way though. But I did read the singer’s blog on the lyrics of that … Continue reading Reply To: The 'Classics'
Musically there’s enough potential in this band to make it as the new melodic hardcore band to love from Belgium.
All On A Black features (ex) members of Razor Crusade and Omission. Both bands are a lot heavier than what All On Black is doing though.
Saw Guardians Of The Galaxy in the cinema. Loved every second of it. Didn’t expect that to be honest. Never read the comics, but it kinda feels like a (toned down) Deadpool’s version of the Avengers or something. And that description sounds a lot worse than it is 🙂 “I am Groot”
Saw it the … Continue reading Reply To: Movies / TV shows part II
Quicksand was the best band of the weekend, loved Iron Chic, Paint It Black, Judge, Cro-Mags, Akaline Trio, H2O, Descendents and even Modern Life Is War too.
Maurice that Myrkur record is awesome, i’m not really into black metal but I loved this one. On topic: And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead – IX
The Murderburgers – How To Ruin Your Life Make Do And Mend – Everything You Ever Loved Teenage Bottlerocket – Freak Out!
Anyone saw Gotham? I didn’t like how they portrayed the killing of the Wayne’s and was ready to ditch the series, but after that it picked up and I’m actually interested in seeing the rest of it. I loved all the little references.
Three punkbands in a place where they used to fry shrimps.
Stolen artwork from the capital. Now flipped and yours.
Loved Paint it Black, Quicksand, Modern Life is War, especially Just Like your Mom’s vegan food and even The Offspring. Enjoyed Terror, Touche Amore, Cro-Mags and Judge while Doomriders was the biggest letdown of the weekend. Not bad at all but I expected more of them. I had a fun weekend overall but it seems … Continue reading Reply To: Groezrock 2014
