Update from the Destroy Your World Inc. HQ.
I’m sure fans of older Madball and the likes will appreciate what these guys are doing!
I was tempted to add a 7seconds song as well but the only album they released is a bit weak (I really love Good to Go though but that’s 90’s). Also we should add a Madball song, any suggestions? Perhaps Agnostic Front as well? Also we miss some Hardcore-punk on this list, aka Strike Anywhere … Continue reading Reply To: Best 100 songs of 00
Madball – Hold It Down (last significant album they did and it’s from 2000, so it just makes the selection). Agnostic Front was irrelevant in the ’00s in my opinion…didn’t release any good albums and were terrible live.
Anyone interested in interviewing Roger Miret? Would be interesting to talk about CBGB’s, Agnostic Front etc. —————————————————— This is Brian from Fresno Media independent publicity for various rock/metal bands, and working with NYC’s pioneer hardcore/punk act AGNOSTIC FRONT. I know most of the contributors are a couple thousand miles away from the states, but the … Continue reading Reply To: Interviews – any takers?
Madball in 00’s??…….D.I.F.M.M.
Madball show review up. Fully intend on catching up on things that still need to be done. I really need to get around to reviewing that Downpresser record, because so far it’s my record of the year.

I would like a second chance for a madball interview, but I doubt the SWNK budget covers sending me to eastern Europe. 😉
RATEL13: Last Dayz – Fatality 7″ There were some ups and downs but Last Dayz is still in the game and with these 5 new songs guys are coming harder than ever. Some may say they will never beat No Future, but hey, they got a propper drummer now. Last Dayz was never … Continue reading Reply To: RATEL RECORDS
Some could argue that Spidercrew is the final nail in hardcore’s coffin, on the other hand, they could very well be the definition of hardcore.
