Lifes / Short Walk – Split 7″
After a snotty demo tape, Lifes returns with a split EP with Short Walk. Expect hurry up hardcore with powerviolence.

Raw, relentless and fast paced. If you want to hear what genuine hardcore sounds like, you should give Worshit a try.
When Lewis Dimmick’s “This Music” was finished, some pieces remained unused. Here’s one about Some Records.
Totally agree! Uncharted 3 is awesome. Make sure you get Uncharted 1 & 2 as well. Great stuff. Iβm not going to spoil anything, but thereβs some stuff in 1 & 2 that I like less, but overall: awesome π
I didn’t like UC3…even though i’ve played the whole UC2 campaign 4 or 5 … Continue reading Reply To: Games
Last nights’ show of Sick Of It All, Cro-Mags and Vision Of Disorder in New York got cancelled after an incident involving Harley Flanagan and a knife.
I put the rest of 100 Bullets on hold for a sec (I’m at issue 45 or something?) to start with some Superman comics. Found a small list of Superman title tips (when I said I didn’t like the Superman character) in my mailbox that I forgot about: Superman : For All Seasons by Jeph … Continue reading Reply To: Comics
That’s true. But I always think it’s a shame when bands play a short set and I can think of 5 or 6 more great songs I would have liked to hear but that weren’t played. But as you said, matter of opinion.
JP – I’ll be sending you Rearranged, Skin Like Iron & Get The Most. No care if you love em or not, I don’t care about ‘objective’ reviews anyway. Just write down how you feel about a record, if you love a band, be passionate about it. Way more interesting than being objective. People will … Continue reading Reply To: Reviews β Any takers?
I really liked Carnivale when I watched it ages ago! Like I said, I like slow movies, but “All Is Lost” didn’t do anything for me… And that Metallica movie made no sense whatever.
Because of legal reasons Daylight is now called Superheaven.
I hear enough and i’ve heard some good things, but not a lot of demo’s. And certainly almost nothing from this part of the world. I’m sorry if i can’t get excited about powerviolence from Guatamala or the next batch of unlistenable Youth Attack black metal or something like that. I just didn’t hear that … Continue reading Reply To: Best demos 2012!?
I’ll try to get the interview with Habits ready today. @JKT: the daugther of my neighbours calls me Buurman (refering to said show). She started doing that before she ever saw me do anything. I’m afraid I’ll never get rid of that name after she saw me and her father take down a fence…
Probably one the most well known Russian hardcore bands at the moment about life, hardcore and bears in the streets.
Free ticket? Check. Free zine? Check. Free cake? Check.
Gallows is excited to announce the release of a brand new album, which will be available in the U.S. from Bridge Nine Records early this Fall.
π Yeah they said they would throw in some other releases as well and that you didn’t need to review them if you didn’t want to. Putting in extra copies of each release is kinda pointless though π Oh well…
Live, The Story So Far is a sensation with their modern brand of poppunk. Guido went to see them in Eindhoven.
They liked the idea, so it probably works π Orchid tribute CD wasn’t available until the 1st of May when they said they would be sending it out. So should be coming your way soon?
