First time i came across a punk gig was when a local band played at a sports hall, scariest shit i ever saw. Stood and watched the chaos from a doorway with my friends. Fights, pigs heads wearing police helmets, swearing, drunkenness all within a couple of streets from my house. Angelic Upstarts 1978.
