I would love to see Grey Area present a new album. I already enjoyed the songs on last years split. Lots of songs in the vein of Hold on tight & Silence from the Fanbelt Algebra album.
This EP has got crew vocals at the right places, gnarls wherever you want them and melodies and mosh parts equal to the Mindset full length.
At this time “Show of the Year” first popped in my head. A reference I’ll be throwing around alot more!
They’re not doing anything new, they’re not re-inventing themselves or taking it to the next level. They just released a damn fine record.
Basement unleashes their swan song onto the world and hearing it we know a good band is lost to us but a new day brings a new sound.
