Milanku is the type of band who combines instrumental postrock in the vein of Explosions in the Sky and combines it with screamo outbursts the Japanese band Envy is known for.
This split seven inch is a nice take on 2 entirely different sounds of yesteryear, but sounds for all the world like it might have been recorded in a dingy studio prior to the turn of the Millenium.
There’s a lot of good stuff to say about the reissue but there are some problems too.
Cowards is a French band into the direction of Kickback and Deathspell Omega.
The band hails from Stockholm and plays punkrock that is dressed down to its very core.
Belgium hardcore outfit A Strength Within just released their first full length.
They have been around since 2008 but the band might not be known to the majority out there. Time for a chat with frontman Philippe Arama.
